# Murmuration: motion brief

The skill's own website, built the way the skill builds sites.

1. **Signature:** a real-time 3D murmuration. Four thousand starlings, simulated on the GPU, wheel across a sunset sky. As you scroll through the examples, the flock gathers into each site's subject (a roasting drum, two stacks of paper, a timber frame, a breaking wave, a sprout, a container ship) and turns slowly in 3D. Between examples the birds stream from one shape to the next.
2. **Why this subject:** a murmuration is many small things moving as one and taking shape. That is the skill's verb: it takes one subject and gives a whole page one motion. Cliché avoided: a particle sphere, a gradient blob, a glowing orb.
3. **Intensity: 8 of 10.** A launch page. The flock is loud; everything else is still and editorial.
4. **Supporting moves (three):** the headline rises line by line on load; each example's prompt types itself as it arrives (you ask in one sentence, the skill answers in motion); the manifesto fills in word by word as it is read.
5. **What drives it:** scroll chooses the shape and how fully the flock has gathered. The pointer is a falcon: birds near it break away and the flock closes again behind it (murmurations exist to evade falcons), and the camera leans a few degrees toward it. Touch gets the same shapes; the falcon and the lean are skipped.
6. **At rest** (reduced motion): each shape fully formed and still, no flutter, the prompts already typed. **Without WebGL:** a drawn flock over the dusk sky and a screenshot of each example.

One palette in both themes: the story is a single sunset, so the sky is the same in light and dark.
