27–29 August 2027Merrow Sands

Three nights on the sand the sea gives back. When the tide goes out, the Ring lights up on the flats and we dance where the sea was.

How Lowtide works

The sea walks out 1.2 km. We dance where it was.

  1. 01 · Ebb

    The flats dry out

About two and a half hours before low water the sea clears the floor. The lamp line comes on and you walk out across hard, rippled sand.

  2. 02 · Low water

    The Ring lights up

A 26-metre ring of light on piles, a sound system pointed out to sea, and a dance floor that only exists for five hours a night.

  3. 03 · Flood

    The horns sound

When the tide turns, the horns give you twenty minutes. The floor walks up the beach to the Dunes stage, which plays until 4.

Lineup · three tides

Tide times

The tide sets the times.

The Ring only exists while the flats are dry. It opens when the falling tide drops below 2.2 m and closes when the flood comes back over the floor, about forty minutes later each night.

Getting there

Merrow station is a twelve-minute walk from the dune gate. Shuttle buses run from Calder every twenty minutes, all night. No cars on the sand; bike racks at the gate.

Camping on the dunes

Pitch up from Thursday 18:00 to Monday 12:00 behind the high-water line, with showers, lockers, phone charging and a café that opens at sunrise.

The sea always comes back

When the horns sound, the Ring closes and everyone walks up to the Dunes. Lifeguards and tide wardens are on the sand all night. Never stay out on the flats.

Access

Matting runs from the gate to the Ring, and a raised viewing deck stands beside it, above the water at every tide. Free companion tickets on request.

Leave only footprints

No glass, no single-use plastic. Cups are deposit-return, and the tide takes everything else, so we pick the beach clean every morning.

18+

Lowtide is for over-18s. Bring photo ID that matches your ticket name; you swap it for a wristband at the dune gate.

Tickets

Be on the sand when the sea leaves.

Prices include booking fees. Pay in three from £57. Under-18s cannot be admitted.
